WAS IT WORTH COMING???
Was it worth coming here trying to seek a better life style and not having the chance for an education having to work all hours of the day and only making up to 10-20 cents a day. Being evicted from your home because you can't afford to pay your rent every week living in 1 bedroom apartments with 10-20 people in a family house hold. Or having to send your children alone to America to work and to send money back to their family so they can have a chance to come to America or being sent to America because of PUSH and PULL FACTORS. push factors are when you are being sent to America to work off some of your families debt so they can go to America also. Pull Factors is when you hear about the good life in America and how it's the GOLDEN LAND. Then going there and knowing what you was told is a lie and having to work much harder before you came to America thinking it was the GOLDEN LAND. Having these beautiful dreams for you and your family and knowing they will never come true. I can relate to that last statement a lot because lots of people was always promising me things and I never got them or I never heard from that person again. I guess I didn't learn my lesson because I whined falling back into the same set of lies I've learned that i'm better off disappointing myself and lieing to myself if I wanted to be lie to so much. SO I ASK AGAIN WAS IT WORTH IT FOR ANYBODY them and i never get it or get to do it and that hurts a lot when you trust a person. That's what happened to those people who believed that America was the GOLDEN LAND and it really wasn't.
